A Fresh and Fun Athleisure Collection for Lasula at ASOS
Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to design a vibrant Athleisure and Loungewear collection for Lasula, a dynamic fast-fashion womenswear brand. This new collection, now available on the ASOS website, is all about making bold yet comfortable fashion choices. Influenced by the Spring/Summer 2020 trends of pastel colors and tie-dye patterns, the designs represent everything that I love about casual wear—comfortable, trendy, and creative.
The Inspiration Behind the Collection
When Lasula approached me to create a new line, I immediately knew it had to be something playful, fresh, and accessible for young women. The target market for this collection is the 16-25 age group, an exciting demographic that embraces bold trends, enjoys experimenting with fashion, and values comfort just as much as style. This collection speaks directly to them—it’s fun, vibrant, and effortlessly stylish. The SS20 runway saw a strong resurgence of pastel tones and tie-dye, so I drew inspiration from these color palettes and patterns to create a collection that aligns with the season’s key looks.
