Adele Fairbairn is operated by FREELANCEFASHIONDESIGNERUK.

FreelanceFashionDesignerUK is a freelance fashion design services platform providing design, consultancy, and industry support to clothing brands and businesses. We do not manufacture garments, own or operate factories, or produce physical products, unless expressly agreed in writing under a separate contract.

FreelanceFashionDesignerUK operates solely as an independent service provider and consultant. We do not act as a manufacturer, buyer, seller, employer, agent, or legal representative of any third-party suppliers, manufacturers, or professionals introduced or referenced through our services.

2. Scope of Services

FreelanceFashionDesignerUK provides, at a high level:

  • Trend Research , Moodboards and Product direct boards
  • Computer aided Designs (CAD)
  • Tech Packs
  • Full Graded size Specifications

3.Out of Scope

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Freelancefashiondesigneruk does not:

  • Communicate with any production agencies or factories
  • Guarantee pricing, timelines, capacity, or production outcomes
  • Act as the manufacturer or production owner
  • Control factory operations, labor practices, or final production decisions
  • Assume responsibility for the final quality, delivery, or compliance of produced goods

All production contracts are entered into directly between the client and the manufacturer.

4.Relationship Disclaimer

Nothing in these Terms, nor any services provided by FreelanceFashionDesignerUK, shall be deemed to create or imply:

  • Any partnership
  • Any employment
  • Any authority for FreelanceFashionDesignerUK to act on behalf of, bind, or represent any client or third party

FreelanceFashionDesignerUK acts solely as an independent service provider and does not represent, act as agent for, or assume responsibility on behalf of any client, agency, manufacturer, or factory. All parties remain independent and responsible for their own actions, agreements, and obligations.

5.Pricing & Payment Policy

All fees for services provided by FreelanceFashionDesignerUK are agreed in advance and must be paid in full upfront via bank transfer prior to the commencement of any project, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

Project fees are based solely on the scope of design and consultancy services agreed at the time of quotation. Any additional work, revisions, or changes requested by the client that fall outside the originally agreed scope will be charged at FreelanceFashionDesignerUK’s prevailing hourly rate, which will be communicated to the client in advance where reasonably practicable.

All prices relate exclusively to design and consultancy services and have no connection to manufacturing or production costs, including but not limited to sampling, materials, labour, factory pricing, or bulk production. FreelanceFashionDesignerUK does not set, negotiate, or guarantee any production pricing.

Work will not commence, and deliverables will not be released, until full payment has been received.

6.Deliverables & File Formats

All deliverables, documents, designs, technical packs, and materials provided by FreelanceFashionDesignerUK are supplied exclusively in PDF format, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Editable, source, or native working files (including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, CAD, or other design software files) are not included as part of the Services and will not be provided unless specifically agreed under a separate written agreement.

The client acknowledges that PDF files constitute the final deliverable format for review, approval, and production use. FreelanceFashionDesignerUK accepts no responsibility for any limitations arising from the use of PDF-only deliverables.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • FreelanceFashionDesignerUK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, business, or goodwill.
  • FreelanceFashionDesignerUK does not guarantee any commercial, production, or financial outcomes arising from the use of its services.
  • The total liability of FreelanceFashionDesignerUK for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the provision of services shall be limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

8.Termination & Suspension

FreelanceFashionDesignerUK reserves the right to suspend or terminate any project or engagement at its sole discretion, including but not limited to instances where the client demonstrates rude, aggressive, or abusive behaviour towards FreelanceFashionDesignerUK or its representatives.

In the event of termination or suspension:

  • The client will retain all services and deliverables that have been fully completed and delivered up to the date of termination.
  • Any services that have not yet been provided at the time of termination will result in a pro-rata refund of fees already paid for those unrendered services.
  • FreelanceFashionDesignerUK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the suspension or termination of services.

Termination or suspension does not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to the date of termination, including payment obligations for completed work.

9.Refund Policy

All fees for services provided by FreelanceFashionDesignerUK are non-refundable once a project has commenced. A project is considered to have commenced once any work, design, consultation, or deliverable preparation has begun.

Once a project has started:

  • Fees already paid are non-refundable, regardless of client cancellation or dissatisfaction, except where otherwise agreed in writing under a separate contract.
  • Any additional work requested outside the original scope will be charged at the agreed hourly rate, and these charges are also non-refundable.

Clients are encouraged to review project proposals and clarify requirements prior to the commencement of work to avoid disputes regarding scope, deliverables, or fees.
